Yes, we will need access to the book ahead of publication (unless it’s already been published). We can create a script for the trailer, or you can put together an outline of what scenes you want to see on screen. We’ll collaborate on tone, costuming, location and more. We’ll also need a strong “call-to-action” for the end of the video. Simply put, what are you looking to get out of the trailer (pre-orders, reviews)?

We’ll accompany your full trailer with shorter clips that follow popular short-form video trends and formatting. For example, we’ll include a hook or standout image early in the clips, we’ll put captions on the clips for people watching with their sound off, and we’ll finish the clips with a clear call-to-action. They’ll look professional and be ready for placement on popular short form video channels.

Will you post my book trailer on social media for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes and no. We are not a social media management company, but we can teach you how to post the videos that we create together! First off, we’ll give you video files that fit right into established social media standards. We’ll also show you the tools, music, and filters that are available on these social media apps. Instruction comes with a small fee, but our goal is to educate you to the point where you won’t need to continue paying someone.

How long does it take to produce a book trailer?

This depends on the length and complexity of your request. Generally, we can complete a shoot in 4-5 days. You have to add pre-production and post-production to this schedule, which could push the overall project to 30-45 days.
